Confirmed sighting: Walkers Gary's Special Lamb Curry flavour

"Magnetic Ham Sandwich" reports: Folowing on from Brit Trips, Walkers' latest on-pack promotion is called "Do Us A Flavour", and basically involves sending in your own invention for a new flavour of crisps. Don't go inventing Pickled Badger or Crispy Brussel Sprouts flavours though because I've already sent those in :)) Anyhow, to get your thinking started Gary Lineker has come up with his own personal favourite flavour - Lamb Curry. I've only seen this limited edition flavour in the bigger 46g Big Eat bags so far, but they all have a picture of Gary on the packets next to the curry ingredients.

Upon opening a bag there is a nice realistic curry aroma which immediately gets your tastebuds twitching. The actual flavour is quite pleasant, and is towards the milder end of the curry scale so even those with delicate mouths should be safe eating a packet of these crisps. Overall a decent replacement for those missing Walker's short-lived Lamb and Mint flavour.

...Great to hear from you again, "MHS", I look forward to your comments on Walkers' Doritos Collisions (Tesco, £1.49/220g bag) - I definitely prefer one of the two flavours mixed into each bag, though I've no idea whether it's Zesty Salsa (vs Chicken Sizzler) or Grilled Pepper (vs T-Bone Steak). In other salted taste-bud-assaults: comedian Harry Hill is kind of following in the footsteps of Noddy Holder by endorsing a new range of Fairtrade salted peanuts, though personally I wouldn't bet against KP's new Spicy Chill Flavour Peanuts (also available in Salt and Vinegar), which are even more terrifyingly addictive than their three-strong Baked and Seasoned selection.
