Click pic to view comments - Confirmed sighting: Kellogg's Crunchy Nut Bites Confirmed sighting: Kellogg's Crunchy Nut Bites
Posted: 22:02 Tue 07-Oct-2008. Price: £2.59/400g. Location: Morrisons. Nutritional unusualness: 13g sugar, 6g fat per serving (not including milk).
The enigmatically-named "New product spy" reports on this latest addition to the Crunchy Nut stable: It's the classic crunch of baked cereal and chopped nuts but with the added chewiness of soft caramel in mini bite-sized clusters. It has been developed for cereal lovers purely with great taste in mind.

...Thanks, "New product spy" - while in other, all-too-credible crunches: some intriguing "may help..." terminology avoids making specific medical claims for Moody Muesli (in "Stop The Clock", "Hair Of The Dog", "Aphrodisiac" and - getting more Medieval in its definition of mood - "Healthy Bowel" varieties); Cranberry and Almond, or Dark Chocolate and Ginger are the new flavours of McVitie's relaunched Boasters; and Mr Kipling's Limited Edition Viennese Whirls (in Chocolate or Toffee, £1.39 BOGOF, Tesco), don't offer a particularly exciting alternative to Fox's Whipped Creams, not when there's the near-terrifying prospect of Mr Kipling's Big French Fancy out there somewhere...
