Confirmed sighting: Chupa Chups Fruit-Tella Flavours from Nature
Posted: 18:08 Sun 11-Oct-2009 . Price: £1 for 10 . Location: ASDA Benton, Newcastle . Sub-flavours: Strawberry .
I've seen (but not sampled) Chupa Chups "Powder Filled" Magics in an odd variety of locations, so well done to "Greg Lowe" for trying these other ones, finding: While [I'm] not a big fan of the revamped Fruit-Tellas these are very nice. Not a normal-tasting Chupa Chup strawberry lolly, more of a hybrid between a strawberry Chupa Chup and a Strawberry Fruit-Tella. The centre is nice and chewy and had a very faithful Fruit-Tella taste.
...In slightly more frightening fruitiness: Cadbury's Scary Orange Cake Bars are a bit more adventurous than their Blackcurrant and Vanilla Mini Rolls - though, admittedly, they do taste a lot like Jaffa Cakes ; Haribo Super Sour Monsters and New Covent Garden Witches' Brew pumpkin and tomato soup should also help celebrate Halloween; and - most mysteriously of all - "John Hounslow" laments that: "Listerine Actives Oral Care Strips have finally vanished from sight in the UK! First the 'own brands' went from supermarkets, then the Wrigleys, then Listerines were only available on line, and now they seem to have vanished entirely from the UK. To quote Eastenders, Wos Gowinon? Anyone know a source of supply?"
